Worked all day with a clamp around my head, both literally and figuratively, as I had my headphones on ON TOP of a headache. Urgh. I got home about 15 minutes ahead of Anders and the kids and crashed on the couch for an hour and a half. By the time I dragged myself upright I was groggy and felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd, I felt he found my letters and read each one out loud…

I read a chapter from The Meaning of Everything that travelertrish so kindly xeroxed and sent to me and OH! I’m so upset! It ended in the middle of sentence and I WANT TO READ THE WHOLE BOOK!!! It’s the story of the Oxford English Dictionary, and I’m such a language geek that I’m drooling at the thought of getting my hands on the whole book. It’s on my wish list with stars next to it, but it’s only out in hardcover.
Then I ate my first ever inside-out Reese’s Peanut Butter cup, and man, that was weird. I’m not sure that it wasn’t just plain WRONG.
