INCOMMUNICADO

I’ll be testing the limits of my internet addiction this weekend. Anders is hosting a men’s dinner party (Mårtens Gås) tomorrow night and they are going to be playing Superbike 2001 in the living room with two sets steeringwheel/joystick/whatever the hell they use setups. Which means the computer is being ripped from its comfortable nest of cables and I won’t be able to get online the rest of the weekend until he puts it back together, most likely on Sunday after getting tired of my incessant harping reminders.

carrieb is in fine form tonight. “Inject me with your sperm!” LOLOL!!

Anyway, since Anders is having 8 people over for dinner, the kids and I have to vacate the place. We are going to a housewarming party, but it doesn’t start until 7 p.m., and I have to be out of here around 3:30. Have been racking my brains as to what to do. No kid movies in the theaters that are suitable or haven’t already been seen. Thought about going to Folkets park, but, if it’s raining, that’s out. Anders’ mom called and invited us over for the afternoon and to go to Vellingeblomma (where we can overdose on the incredible number of ways to make tomtes out of that really heavy stuff that I can’t think of the name of), but they have to leave by 4:30 as they’re also out for the evening, and frankly, the idea of spending the entire afternoon and evening there alone…with no computer…hahahhaha…is not very appealing. Although, I’ll probably do it anyway, because I’ve been feeling fairly guilty about the lack of time we’ve been able to spend with Anders’ family lately. Then again, when I consider the amount of time I’ve been spending with MY (first) FAMILY, I don’t particularly give a rat’s ass.

That was one of my dad’s favorite expressions, along with “No shit, Sherlock!”, that I treasure to this day. 🙂

Putting together and printing out all those images for kissekat made me realize how long it’s been since I worked on my collage book. Must get started again. Sunday looks good for some quality craft time. I’ve probably got about 100 pages worth of images to print out for myself, and I promised to add links to the info page, too. And, it will soon be that time of month again: time to get started on the AWC website. Thankfully, most of the activities are already in place for December, so it will mostly be the articles/news page and a few other things.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of a friend, we now have a working color printer, although it’s a bubble jet. But it was FREE, so who cares?!
