What a difference a good night of sleep makes! Wish I’d had one. Heh! I went to bed at 11 last night and read for an hour, finally dropping off just before midnight. CROSS PATCH

There’s nothing as aggravating as having a completely perfect blue-sky sunshine day marred by a horrible pissy mood. ADJUSTING MY SAILS

Maybe all I needed to blow some of this mood away was a really stiff breeze. The sky finally began to clear this evening from the smothering low cloud cover we’ve been suffocating and washing away under all week. NOT AN EXCUSE, JUST A STATUS REPORT

3 solid days of meetings which included evening activities, unsettling re-org news and much wasted time. 4 hours of sleep last night thanks to the fly party that started at 4 a.m. 1 pile of dead flies. Headache, fever and achey-ness today. No desire for writing anything, at all. *** Aside: Christina, I’ve not forgotten, I swear. You’ll have it tomorrow.
