Had a lovely sleep-in this morning which I do so appreciate 🙂 Heard from my mom that my sister and her family are back from Isabel evacuation and all’s well, despite no power (with a freezer full of food, so hope it comes back on soon) and a tree down on their car. This is slated to be an AWC work and collage book weekend, with sushi-making at cooking club tomorrow. 🙂 🙂 …assuming I can tear myself away from the computer… ha!

Anders and I were on the phone together, while at work today, coordinating our calendars for the next 2 months, and as I gave him date after date to add, I kept feeling guiltier and guiltier. I’m not 100% sure why. But with choir every Wednesday evening, a club event nearly every weekend, and a club activity nearly every week, not to mention family things, and non-club commitments, I feel as though I’m gone from home A LOT. CNN has an article tonight about how the position you sleep in reveals what type of personality you are. I, according to the study, am “brash and gregarious.” The freefall, flat on the tummy with the hands at the sides of the head, is the most unusual position. Only 6.5 percent of people prefer it and they are usually brash and gregarious. Well, it’s officially fall here in Sweden. Yes, that’s right, I saw a huge sugar beet on the side of the road on my way to work this morning. 🙂 Yesterday evening, the kids and I walked to the library and afterwards we went around the school and daycare yards and collected berries off the mountain ash trees. We do this every year and use them as table decorations at the Halloween party. We found some gorgeous red leaves (already!!). In a couple of weeks, we’ll go up to the abandoned youth hostel in Lund and collect more red ivy...
I came home today to find a huge brown-wrapped package on the front doorstep, from the local flowershop. Upon opening it, I found a beautiful potted orchid and a thank you note from the FAWCO President and board for my recent help with their membership directory. Made my day, I must say. 🙂 It’s nice to feel appreciated!
