I still sound verrrry sexy, but I actually felt worse today, compounded by unexpected project loads dropped on head at work. Sushi with a friend before the AWC meeting helped though and the new board seems very gung-ho which makes me happy. The kids are going to farmor and farfars tomorrow and staying overnight. My mom is coming for 3 weeks in December and I am thrilled about that.
This morning, at work, I seated myself at the breakfast table and someone said hello to me and when I grrrrrrowled hello back, she was taken aback and asked me rapidly, “Are you sick? Are you contagious? Are you Monday-tired?” and something else which I can’t now remember and I felt my tongue jam up against the back of my teeth and my brain twitch: I literally couldn’t process or answer. She had to repeat her questions very slowly while I simply nodded at her in the right places.
