It’s September, the weather is fantastic, though the nights are getting longer and darker. We’ve had gorgeous summer weather all week. In fact, it’s supposed to get up to 30C tomorrow! That’s 86F! In September! Unheard of. That’s climate change for you. I’m perfectly fine with it, as I’m back at work and not sweltering anywhere and it cools down drastically in the evenings and the house stays cool during the day as long as we have the blinds pulled in the living room. Clear blue skies, too. Perfect!
I don’t really have anything much to write about. Crazy busy this week, with FOUR trips to Malmö in nearly as many days (hair, x-ray, dinner and a movie, and massage) all scheduled for after work. I’m busy at home too, but very glad for those evenings in between where I’m not going anywhere or doing anything.
Jessika next door had her new kittens out on leashes in the backyard and I happened to see them out the window, so of course I immediately ran outside and asked if I could meet them. She got them in mid-summer, but has been keeping them indoors until now when she is bringing them out into the yard to get used to things in a safe way. They are nearly twins, solid black with white front toes and white back feet and a little white under their chins. The girl cat, Chanel, who is slightly smaller, has a black spot on the underside of her chin. The boy cat is Ossie (not sure if that’s how they are spelling it. Maybe it’s Ozzy. Anyway, they are ADORABLE but were much more interested in everything around them than being held and snuggled by me. Still! KITTENS! NEIGHBOR KITTENS!
i’ve made progress with one of the banks in the US in the chore of moving my IRA funds over to Sweden. Have the paperwork ready, just waiting on a form to come from my credit union in the US. Then have to have Karin sign as well, and go to my bank here to get a stamp/notary before I can send everything in. Then still have to work on the paperwork for the other bank, who will at least do an international transfer. So confusing and complicated! URGH.
So, this post is lame, but it’s a post so I’ve at least got one post in September, haha!
