Why doesn&#8217;t that translate to sitting down and writing something? I have no idea but I&#8217;m not going to spend any time beating myself up about it. It is what it is. No posts equals no comments but since posts don&#8217;t garner comments either, it&#8217;s a moot point. <\/p>\n<p>The last post I wrote was on February 21st. Here&#8217;s a list of things that have happened since then:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>took a day off and spent it in Copenhagen with Debbie and Camilla, going to lunch and then the Planetarium, and then to dinner at Vapiano back in Sweden<\/li>\n<li>Anders and I had dinner at our friend&#8217;s Barbara and Paul&#8217;s with their kids, and watched Melodifestivalen<\/li>\n<li>First in-person (again) AIC monthly meeting with interesting guest speakers (a children&#8217;s book author and a children&#8217;s book illustrator)<\/li>\n<li>a doctor visit in which, once again, my IUD could not be found and\/or extracted, which means an appointment for &#8220;surgery&#8221; is in the works<\/li>\n<li>Having to have bookworms on Zoom when the host&#8217;s husband contracted COVID a few days before<\/li>\n<li>going shopping with Karin to buy supplies for Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>obsessively watching\/reading the news about Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>forgetting my sister-in-law&#8217;s birthday and calling her a day late<\/li>\n<li>firming up plans to meet up with John and family for a week in August on Bornholm: ferry booked, cabin paid<\/li>\n<li>lots of sunshine and meteorological spring<\/li>\n<li>wrote 14 posts on Facebook detailing the good things from each day<\/li>\n<li>read 3.5 books and discussed 1 of them<\/li>\n<li>finishing all of <i>Dickinson<\/i> and now rewatching all of <i>Killing Eve<\/i><\/li>\n<li>dealing with a major cyber crisis at work pretty much since my last post here<\/li>\n<li>walked a total of 10.5k<\/li>\n<li>getting a text from my daughter that she pierced her nose<\/li>\n<li>a new season of B\u00e4st i Test premiered<\/ul>\n<p>That certainly wasn&#8217;t the totality of the events and happenings of the last 2 weeks but it&#8217;s at least the highlights. Apart from a few of those that weren&#8217;t really GOOD things. Highlight is a subjective word, eh?<\/p>\n<p>Now, it&#8217;s a Monday evening, after a rather stressful, extremely busy day at work. I came home after 4 and immediately put on my walking shoes and dragged poor Martin around the village while I vented about my day. Then I refilled the bird feeder, played some ipad games, made a boring dinner, read some more in my delightful book (2nd in the Greta Helsing series), and then thought, GO WRITE A DAMN POST.<\/p>\n<p>Done.<\/p>\n<p><b>Things coming up in the next 2 weeks that I&#8217;m looking forward to<\/b>: a massage tomorrow, dinner with Debbie &#038; Camilla on Friday, Melodifestivalen final, a Sunday lunch date with my work ladies, AIC St. Pat&#8217;s dinner and a lunch in Lund.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve completely lost the motivation to write here, which is weird considering that I think about it all the time.
