Spending my weekend being sick was not in the plans. I stayed home from work yesterday with a sore throat, fever, aches and chills. UGH. And I’ve now depleted my supply of Advil substantially as it is the only thing that made a significant difference to my symptoms. Twice I had chills so bad that I actually thought my neck and back were spasming.<\/p>\n
I had things to do this weekend and none of them are getting done as I have no stamina and keep having to go lie down for what I think is just a quick rest and keeps turning into 1-2 hours. I have too much to do the next couple of weeks to be sick! <\/p>\n
It’s been awhile since I was sick. I dread it because so often what begins as a cold turns into walking pneumonia or stomach flu. I’m hoping this one will blow over quickly.<\/p>\n
At least it’s been rainy and cruddy out so I don’t feel gypped on walking or being outside like I would if it were nice weather. Sigh. Maybe I’ll call my mom and fish for sympathy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
