Anders&#8217; parents got here just after 3 p.m. and the kids watched <i>Kalle Anka<\/i> until Karin and I left to pick up John &#038; Simone at the airport (on time! smooth sailing!).<\/p>\n<p>There is still a ton of snow and there are lovely advent lights in stars in the windows of every house. We had a wonderful evening stuffing ourselves silly on all the good food that Anders and his mom had prepared and then (finally! said Karin) opened a portion of the presents before dessert. The kids got the biggest present: a mini ping-pong table! I have threatened death &#038; destruction if anything on the tree gets broken since it&#8217;s been temporarily set up in the front hall, since John &#038; Simone are sleeping in the playroom.<\/p>\n<p>Anders is wrapping presents in our bedroom with the door shut, stockings have been stuffed and I am sitting here wishing that your year will be merry &#038; bright!
