Funny how the year is winding down but we are winding up. I am wound up! The older I get, the faster it goes. And you know what? It’s not like I ever really wind down. I think maybe I’ll just keep on winding tighter and tighter until the end when I suddenly snap and go whizzing right out of the atmosphere, like the rubber bands I used to shoot down the hallway for my cat.<\/p>\n

The nice thing about being wound up is that a great deal of it is with anticipation. There’s so much to look forward to: my brother and his wife, and my mom arriving, the holidays, all the events that are on the calendar and then, just think! There’s all of next year! We’ll probably go somewhere and do some really amazing things. We’ll have so much time! I might get to see you! I might get to see YOU, too. I can’t wait.<\/p>\n
