Things I am loving right now:<\/b><\/p>\n

♥ A thought-provoking and challenging book<\/a> by a favorite author<\/p>\n

♥ Being able to find things when I want them<\/p>\n

♥ The sound of crickets in the evening<\/p>\n

♥ The way the air cools down at night and breezes gently through the house<\/p>\n

♥ Nearing the climax, chapter by chapter, in a gripping story<\/a> that I’m reading aloud to the kids at bedtime<\/p>\n

♥ The way they both groan and say “Keep reading, mommy!” when I reach the end of the chapter and put the book down<\/p>\n

♥ Open-faced mini pav\u00e9s with ham & mayo, sliced green peppers and “black monk” cheese<\/a> melted on top<\/p>\n

♥ Counting down the days to vacation<\/p>\n

♥ Crossing the last few things off my to-do list at work that need to be done beforehand<\/p>\n

♥ The dearth of commitments on our calendar for the foreseeable future’<\/p>\n

♥ Re-discovering Sara Hickman<\/a><\/p>\n

♥ My childrens’ big brown eyes in their rosy, sun-tanned faces<\/p>\n

♥ Leftover birthday cake<\/p>\n

♥ The stupid human tricks my kids can do (Martin: vibrating eyes; Karin: flower tongue!)<\/p>\n

♥ The amused look my husband gives me when one of the kids does or says something funny<\/p>\n
