Why do birthdays stick me with earwormy songs about time passing and aging? Last year I wrote about the things I had accomplished between the previous birthday and the one I was having, and I figure that’s as good a way as any to end my nice day today \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Passed my 3-year online journaling milestone a couple of days ago.<\/p>\n
Celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
Fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling to Scotland.<\/p>\n
Continued loveloveloving my job, even though it continually kicks my ass.<\/p>\n
Sang at my baby brother’s wedding.<\/p>\n
Enthusiastically joined in with the wonderful Poetry Thursday<\/a> crowd.<\/p>\n Had many mixed feelings…about mixed feelings, among other things.<\/p>\n Killed a cat<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hosted my mom (twice!), my Aunt Judy, my sister and her family, and my good friends Kathey & Russell during the course of the year.<\/p>\n Sang in Globen with 3000 other choir members and Kjell L\u00f6nn\u00e4.<\/p>\n Bounced on a giant trampoline.<\/p>\n Didn’t update a damn thing on my family homepage<\/a> ALL YEAR except my booklist<\/a>. But I DID, after all, read 102 books.<\/p>\n Ate 42,003 pieces of sushi.<\/p>\n Began receiving pages for a friendship book from lovely people all over the blogosphere.<\/p>\n Re-learned how much I enjoy canoeing<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stole someone’s lunch<\/a> and admitted my criminal past<\/a> to my daughter.<\/p>\n Allowed Tracey<\/a> to shoot my children<\/a>.<\/p>\n Partied with brief_therapy<\/a>, ibyi<\/a>, shazzerlive<\/a>, kejn<\/a>, misschili<\/a>, natooke<\/a>, idahoswede<\/a>, reebert<\/a>, studiozoe<\/a>, knacke_brod<\/a>, sandykins57<\/a>, berchshill<\/a>, scubatoe_eimi<\/a>, e11en<\/a>, kachunknorge<\/a>, blue_eyed_girl<\/a>, jax_in_sweden<\/a>, georgiamars<\/a>, and probably at least 1 or 2 other people that I’m forgetting…I blame it on my advanced age, if so.<\/p>\n
